100% Healthy Smoothies

Smoothies are usually made with fruit, either fresh, frozen or in pulp mixed with dairy products or ice cream. Since we are presenting a healthier version in these items without losing any of the taste, we will offer a few alternatives to make them easier to digest and as light as possible:

  • Instead of milk or yogurt, use a vegetable drink or cream. You can find rice, oatmeal, coconut or spelt milk in any diet shop or organic food market.
  • Instead of sweetening with sugar, use agave nectar, honey or refined stevia extract.
  • Use fresh fruit and, if possible, organic.

What ingredients do I need?
  • Avocado (if you like, you could even include grids from the seeds)
  • Fresh spinach
  • Ripe banana
  • Herbal drinks or apple juice
  • Agave nectar, honey or stevia

Yellow smoothie

This yellow smoothie is a perfect way to improve digestion, help prevent fluid retention, activate the metabolism and even help with weight loss diets.

This smoothie has a refreshing, tropical and slightly spicy taste, perfect for hot weather. You need to add in vegetable cream to make the drink creamy.

Ingredients

  • A ripe pineapple
  • Ginger juice or in powder form
  • Coconut powder
  • Vegetable cream from oat flakes, rice or coconut
  • Purified Stevia

You could also use the pineapple bark, which also has several positive health properties. Cook for 15 minutes, then let it cool down for another 5 minutes. You could also use this cooked ingredient in other smoothies.


Orange Smoothie

The orange smoothie is especially recommended for people who suffer from intestinal problems such as constipation, diarrhea, colitis, parasites, etc. It also has a delicious taste, in addition to its health benefits.

You need

  • Papaya (some seeds contain, for anti-parasite properties)
  • A mango
  • Linseed (soaked overnight in some water; you can also add the water to the smoothie) Some kind of herbal drink
  • Organic orange bark (use only a small piece)
  • agave syrup, honey or purified stevia
  • Mix the ingredients until you find that the papaya seeds and flax seeds are well mixed. Decorate with a little orange peel, whole or diced.
